Our mission is to help pilgrims answer the universal call to holiness by participating in our spiritual pilgrimages and custom tours to holy places.
During the religious retreat/pilgrimage to Medjugorje, June 5-14, 2022, our pilgrims will have the unique privilege of having Fr. Glenn Sudano, CFR, as our spiritual director. Fr. Glenn will lead the pilgrims in morning and evening prayer, offer conferences, and will be a available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Also, during our excursion trips, Fr. Glenn will celebrate private Mass at the Shrines. Guided by the Holy Spirit, Fr.Glenn’s spiritual conferences reflect his profound love for our Lord and for the teachings of our Catholic faith.
A gifted homilist and teacher, Fr. Glenn’s conferences are one of the many highlights of the pilgrimage. Fr. Glenn is one of the eight founding members of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal which has been granted Pontifical Recognition on June 13, 2016. During the formative years of the Community, Fr. Glenn served as vocation director, novice master and as community servant (superior). He continues to serve his community and others though spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, spiritual deliverance ministry, conducting retreats, preaching at parish missions and other forms of evangelizing.
As St. Benedict Tours Medjugorje spiritual director, Fr. Glenn has led retreats for private groups and parishes throughout the United States and in Europe. Also, Fr. Glenn has made many pilgrimages to Medjugorje. In 2022, Fr.Glenn was named Chaplain of the Holy Family Farm, a nonprofit association preparing young men to lead a Christian life.
Ten-Day Medjugorje Pilgrimage/Retreat Itinerary

- Sunday, Day 1…Departure From Newark, New Jersey We will depart from Newark International Airport to Sarajevo, Bosnia, via Frankfurt, Germany. We have confirmed seats, economy class on Lufthansa Airlines. Dinner and a light breakfast will be served during the flight.
- Monday, Day 2…Arrival in Medjugorje In Medjugorje we will be staying at Hotel Jana, a beautiful, family owned 4 star plus hotel, located 200 meters from St. James Church. Every room opens out to a balcony with a view of either Apparition Hill or Cross Mountain. During our nine night stay in Medjugorje, we will enjoy breakfast and dinner in a private dining room at the hotel. Wine will be served with dinner.
- Tuesday-Monday, Day 3-9…Medjugorje Our pilgrimage will be very special as Fr. Glenn Sudano, CFR, a gifted spiritual director, will offer to the pilgrims a retreat during our stay in Medjugorje. The retreat will include praying together and daily conferences. Fr. Glenn will incorporate all the spiritual activities offered in Medjugorje as part of the retreat. Every day the pilgrims will have the opportunity to attend daily Mass in St. James Church, received the Sacrament of Reconciliation and pray daily in the Chapel of Exposition. Mirela, our local guide, will arrange for the pilgrims (that are physically capable) the opportunity to climb Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain, and pending availability, meetings with visionaries and local priests. Time permitting, we will visit two local points of interest, Cenacolo and Mother’s Village. The pilgrimage will also include three 1-day excursions:
- 1. Church of Divine Mercy, Surmanci, Bosnia
- 2. Church of Tihaljina, Medjugorje
- 3. The Blood of the Martyr Church
Note: Private Mass will be offered by Fr. Glenn and lunch will be included during our excursion trips.
- Tuesday, Day 10…Departure to Newark, New Jersey We will depart for the Sarajevo International Airport for our return flight home to Newark International Airport via Frankfurt, Germany. Our seats are confirmed in Economy Class on Lufthansa Airlines. As in past pilgrimage, our pilgrims will be returning with hearts filled with joy and many memorable experience to share with their families and friends.

St. Benedict Tours Medjugorje Retreat/Pilgrimage includes accommodations at Hotel Jana, a beautiful, modern 4-star plus hotel, is perfectly located only steps away from St. James Church (200 meters) and to the well known restaurants of Medjugorje, e.g., Colombo and Viktor’s. “Medjugorje: Where Heaven touches the earth”
St. Benedict Tours Medjugorje | On the eve of June 24, 1981, at approximately 6 pm, the Blessed Mother appeared to six Croatian children in a small, beautiful village, Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina (at the time, Yugoslavia). These alleged apparitions of the Blessed Mother, affectionately referred to by the children as “Gospa” (which means “Lady” in Croatian), have continued to this day.
On two occasions Our Lady told the children, “Peace must reign between God and man, and between all people!” Our Lady’s message is that peace is the greatest good, and through faith, conversion, prayer, and fasting, we can all attain it. Since the first apparition in 1981, millions of people of all faiths have traveled to Medjugorje. Many pilgrims have reported physical and spiritual healings, conversion, and peace.
Also, the “Fruits of Medjugorje” have brought many vocations to the Holy Priesthood and to the religious life. Once you visit Medjugorje, you will realize why Medjugorje is referred to as “the place where Heaven touches the earth”.
