St. Benedict Tours suggests the purchase of travel protection to protect you and your trip investment. Plans vary and may include Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption and Delays, Emergency Medical and Dental, Baggage Delay and Loss, and 24 Hour Assistance Services. St. Benedict Tours has provided a direct link to companies that provide travel insurance.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a $400.00 deposit and a signed registration form. This deposit forms a part of your final payment which is due 90 days prior to departure. Reservations made within 89 days of departure must be accompanied by payment in full.
FORMS OF PAYMENT
A deposit of $400.00 per person to secure reservations will be applied to the price of the tour. Payments will be accepted in the form of check, money order or credit card. Pilgrims who choose to submit all payments of the form of check or money order will receive a $100.00 cash discount.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received by St. Benedict Tours. In addition to a $300 per person administration fee, the following cancellation fees will be deducted from your refund:
- 90 to 60 days prior to departure: 10%
- 59 to 45 days prior to departure: 20%
- 44 to 30 days prior to departure: 30%
- 29 to 14days prior to departure: 80%
- 14 days prior to departure or no show: no refund
If you are a United States citizen you **MUST** have the following for your trip:
U.S. Passport….Valid for 6 months after return from this trip.
U.S. citizens do not require visas for Croatia or Bosnia-Herzegovina. Citizens of other countries should consult with the corresponding embassy or consulate for visa requirements. St. Benedict Tours cannot be held liable for clients not having proper passports, visa or other travel documents. Cancellation due to lack of appropriate documents will incur usual penalties.
FINAL DOCUMENTS AND TICKETS
Travel documents will be issued upon receipt of final payment only and will be mailed out approximately 3 weeks before departure. Upon the receipt of your travel documents, please review them carefully for any errors. Please check your itinerary, name, times and other important information. Should you find any errors in your final travel documents it will be your responsibility to contact St. Benedict Tours immediately.
The price is guaranteed if paid in full.
St. Benedict Tours reserves the right to alter prices at any time prior to departure and without prior notice if circumstances so warrant. Any devaluation or revaluation of currencies, change of airport taxes may effect published price.
St. Benedict Tours endeavors to provide the highest level of service to all of our pilgrims. Handicapped and medically ill participants, who require special assistance, MUST be accompanied by a qualified helper who assumes total responsibility for the handicapped/ medically ill participant’s well being.
St. Benedict Tours is not responsible for any medical conditions that occur prior, during, or after the tour.
RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
St Benedict Tours acts only as agent for the airlines and tour operators, in all matters pertaining to transportation, hotel accommodations, and sight seeing tours. The airlines, hotel, land operators, and other suppliers providing services are independent contractors and not agents, employees or associates of St. Benedict Tours. The passenger agrees that St. Benedict Tours shall not be liable for any changes in flight schedules, delays, weather conditions, damages, inconveniences, losses (including personal injuries, death, and property losses) or expenses caused by acts or omissions of any person, including suppliers providing services, or for any acts of war, insurrection, revolts and other civil uprisings, military actions, strikes or acts of God occurring in either the country of origin, through passage, or destination.
St. Benedict Tours is not responsible for flight delays or cancellations or any charges incurred due to unforeseen circumstances. Unused portions of the trip are non-refundable and St. Benedict Tours is not liable for any form of restitution.
St. Benedict Tours reserves the right to decline or accept or retain any persons as a pilgrim participant, to make changes in the itinerary whenever St. Benedict Tours deems it necessary to the comfort, convenience and safety of the pilgrim participants, and to cancel a pilgrimage at any time. If St. Benedict Tours cancels a pilgrimage, for any reason, St. Benedict Tours shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of all monies paid to St. Benedict Tours by the pilgrim participant. All published fares and prices are based on exchange rates and prices quoted at the time of publication are subject to change at any time.
LAND ONLY PACKAGE
Please be advised, pilgrims opting for the Land Only Package and choosing to arrange your own domestic or international flight independently of St. Benedict Tours, St. Benedict Tours is not responsible for domestic or international flights or transfers of any kind in the event of any kind of cancellation. All passenger(s) that purchase the Land Only Package will be responsible to book all tickets independently.
Please be advised, passenger(s) opting for the Land Only package or who are deviating from the group itinerary will be responsible for their own transfers to/from hotel/airport. Land only services start and end at the hotels. If you arrive at the airport at the same time or earlier than the group, you are welcome to join the group on the bus. However, it will be the passenger(s) responsibility to notify St. Benedict Tours in writing 45 days prior to departure with your flight schedule if you would like to join the group.
- The cost of the air/land package includes air travel in economy class.
- The seats are assigned by the airlines and are at the discretion of the airlines pending on availability and aircraft configuration.
- St. Benedict Tours will make effort to accommodate your choice of seating. However, St. Benedict Tours can never guarantee specific seat assignments.
- All special needs and requests due to medical or dietary restrictions must be requested in writing at least 60 days prior to departure.
- Upgrades to premium economy, business class, or first class may be available. Please contact St. Benedict Tours for specific details.
Each passenger is permitted to check one (1) suitcase weighing no more than 50 lbs., and one (1) small carry-on bag on the plane. Airline baggage fees are the responsibility of the passenger (s). Porterage of all luggage at all times is the sole responsibility of passenger(s).
St. Benedict Tours is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen baggage or airline baggage fees.
Price per person is based on two persons sharing twin bedded rooms with private facilities. Double-bedded rooms are subject to availability and must be requested. St. Benedict Tours will make every effect to meet your needs.
